Portrait Session - $400

Whether you're getting an executive portrait, stylized headshot or senior portrait the goal is the same - you want to look good. Let's face it, we're all still living in high school anyway and no one wants to look bad in their photos. I take the time to make sure you'll be happy with your portrait and will be happy to share it.

Each photo session includes the following:

  • A pre-session phone consultation

  • 2 hour session

  • 1 - 2 wardrobe changes

  • 15 - 20 final images

  • A post-session in-person consultation

  • 8 X 12 print

What to expect:

You'll arrive and the pre-arranged location and I'll be there ready to make some great photos. We've usually talked about the session before we get to there but I'm open to any last-minute suggestions that you might have that will make the shoot a success. I'll usually set up a couple portable lights and get some test shots before I'm ready to roll. Once I'm ready, I may guide you from one pose to the next and make sure you're comfortable and happy with the results. I may even show you the back of the camera so you know we're on the right track.

I usually promise a two-week turn time. However, I realize deadlines loom and sometimes you just can't wait. I'm happy to turn around much quicker if necessary. Even a same day turn time is possible. I did this for years at newspapers so quick turns don't scare me.

Once the photos are ready I'll email you to let you know it's time to set up a post-session in-person consultation. Here I like to do things a little different than some photographers. I want you to get the most out of your photos so together we'll take a look at the final edit and choose your favorites. We can discuss print options or hard-bound photo albums for senior photos so you can show them off to your friends and family. Or, if your up against a deadline like I mentioned earlier, I can send them in a password-protected digital gallery so you can download them
